Should I give my dog or cat monthly heartworm preventative?
Yes, we definitely recommend administering a heartworm preventative as mosquitos are rampant in the southern states year-round. Even indoor pets are at risk of contracting heartworms. Heartworm prevention also targets intestinal parasites, which can pose a threat to your pet as well.

We do authorize prescriptions through third party online retailers upon doctor’s discretion for patients with a current annual exam.
