Thomas Rics

Dr. Thomas Ricks

Founder

Dr. Ricks is the founder of Town and Country Animal Hospital. He has numerous years of experience treating avian, exotic, canine, and feline patients. Dr. Ricks is one of three veterinarians in the state that is a member of the Association of Avian Veterinarians. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and dog, Camille. When he is not at the clinic, you can typically find him on the golf course.

Dr. Katie Ebers

Veterinarian

Dr. Katie Ebers graduated from Mississippi State University and has been practicing for 12 years. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, a Master’s degree in public health equivalency, and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, all of which are from Mississippi State University. Go Dawgs! Dr. Ebers is a member of the AVMA and MVMA, to which she currently serves as the Alternate Delegate for the AVMA House of Delegates. She prides herself in developing a relationship with the pet and the clients. She believes that we are a team that together makes the best decisions about the pet’s health. And who doesn’t love pet snuggles?

She loves to run and tries to run a race every few months. She also loves to travel and is always up for an adventure. She loves spending time with her family. Her family includes her husband, Eric, who is a college baseball coach, son Enoch, daughter Ellie, dog Seuss, and two cats named Mocha and Nacho.

Dr. Rochelle Terrebonne

Veterinarian

Dr. Rochelle Terrebonne was born and raised in a small town called Golden Meadow, LA. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and Technology at Louisiana State University in 2011. She then attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts (Caribbean) and graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2016.

Dr. Terrebonne lives with her 3 fur babies- kitties named Allie Cat and Josie Pearl and a small ball of puppy energy named Rubie Jane, In her free time she enjoys spending time with my friends and family. She also loves the outdoors- hunting, fishing, hiking, etc.

She prides herself in preventative medicine. She firmly believes that more attention given to keeping her patients healthy equals more quality years my clients can spend with their pets. She wants her clients to be able to enjoy as much time with their loving fur babies as possible.

Deanna Miller

Practice Manager
Deanna has been practicing since March 1994. She attended JCJC and PRCC. She takes pride in quality care for her patients and positive experiences for patients and their owners.

She enjoys spending time with family and friends and her furry babies. In her free time, she also likes to read.

Office Manager
Taryn was raised in Jackson, MS and studied Animal Science at the University of Findlay in Findlay, OH. She prides herself on upholding superior customer service while maintaining close relationships with clients. To her, one of the most rewarding experiences is seeing a sick pet regain their health and vitality. She competes with and trains American Quarter Horses, enjoys park days with her 3 dogs and barn time with her 4 cats, and travels with her husband, Robert.

Receptionist
Carley grew up in Wiggins, MS on a family farm where she still lives and cares for many different animals. There is not an animal she does not love, even the scaly, creepy, and crawly.

She enjoys playing video games, painting, and spending time with her “zoo,” which includes a snake, a turtle, rats, horses, cats, and dogs!

Veterinary Technician
Missy attended school at Oak Grove and has been practicing for 16 years. Most of all she loves caring for animals the way she cares for her own. She likes to make both the clients and animals feel comfortable with her and what she is doing.

She loves spending time with her son, Carter as well as her crew of animals. She loves reading, gardening, and wildlife rehab.

Meet Kim, our seasoned cat whisperer extraordinaire. With over a decade of hands-on experience and an undeniable passion for animal care, Kim brings a wealth of expertise to our team. Whether it’s administering treatments or providing TLC, Kim ensures that our furry friends receive top-notch care. We’re delighted to have her onboard, ensuring that every purr and paw is in the best hands possible.

Veterinary Technician
Lauren has been practicing for almost 12 years. Nothing makes her happier than seeing a fur baby get the care and love they deserve. Also, educating clients on proper care. It is always rewarding, just knowing she is making a difference in somebody’s life!

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family. She has 2 girls, 3 pups, and 4 kitty boys. They fill her time with bundles of cuddles!

Katie

Veterinary Technician
Katie grew up in Raleigh, NC and Atlanta, GA, but she has been residing in MS for the last 6 years. She has 2 fur babies (KC and Nola) and a bearded dragon. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, deep sea fishing, and trying new restaurants with her husband. She recently earned her Master’s in Biology and hopes to attend vet school in the future!

Paige

Kennel Technician
Paige was homeschooled up until she went to the Youth Challenge Academy and after went to Penn Foster University. She takes pride in giving her patients the love and compassion that they will need to get better.

In her free time, she likes to be outdoors, spending time with family and friends and working with wildlife, and volunteering.

Christine R.

Kennel Technician
Christine went to school in Germany and has been practicing for 8 years. It makes her happy to be around animals and try to take care of them as if they were hers.

In her free time, she trains her dogs and her miniature horses.

Veterinary Technician
Vale is currently finishing up her final semester at Penn Foster College. She takes pride in knowing she is giving them all her efforts to give them the best care. She enjoys spending time with her friends and has a strong affinity for both felines and reptiles (especially snakes!).

Lacey

Kennel Technician
Lacey joined our team in the summer of 2024. She loves nothing more than cuddling with our patients and making sure our boarders feel right at home.
Madi

Madi

Madi grew up in Houston, Mississippi, and is a proud pet mom to four fur babies—Scout, Ellie Mae, Darla, and Stormy—and a human baby, Asher, who was born in May 2024. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and playing with her dogs. Madi brings a contagious, sweet personality to the clinic, along with an unrivaled passion for providing quality care to each and every patient. She truly loves every animal that comes through our doors, making her a cherished member of our team.

Veterinary Technician

Micah grew up in Florida but he has been residing in MS for the last 12 years. He has 5 fur babies (Molly, Penny, Max, Piper, and Daisy). In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with friends, photography, and trying new restaurants with his husband. He is currently enrolled in the Penn Foster program and has recently been promoted from kennel tech to veterinarian assistant!

Meet Oneste, originally from Meridian, now thriving in Hattiesburg for the past five years. With a lively- lab puppy named Blakley by her side, Oneste is preparing for a promising journey into the realm of Physical Therapy through future schooling.

Meet Christina, originally from Columbia, she now calls Hattiesburg home. With six years of residency in Hub City, Christina has established roots and a passion for animal care. She shares her home with her husband, five dogs and two pet rats. Christina is currently enrolled in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technician Program and is on the fast track to expanding her veterinary knowledge and skills.
